Based in Monument, Colorado, David Hurtado approcahes painting as a process of discovery.

His work is influenced by the natrual world, the human form, color and the stories carried by people and places.

From first sketch to the final brushstroke, every original painting is created in the studio with intention of making something personal, expressive and lasting.
